MSC Sports, in partnership with Waner Bros. Disovery Sports and MSC Outdoor, announced today its 17 game schedule for the 2023-24 NHL season. For the first time, MSC Sports will produce three games exclusively for its MSC Sports Extra streaming service. Every game is exclusive to its listed network(s).  MSC Sports and Warner Bros. Disovery partnered in 2021 to bring NHL games to more fans, with simulcasts on TNT and MSC and will continue to do so this year. Now MSC Sports Extra, for the first time, will be able to reach new fans as part of their partnership.  MSC Sports and MSC Outdoor in Canada have partnered with the National Hockey League to produce four games as part of the 2023 NHL Global Series in Stockholm, Sweden. MSC Sports announced today its coverage plans for the semifinals of the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, August 23rd.  Semifinal number 1 features Lionel Messi and Inter Miami against FC Cincinnati. The game will become the first ever U.S. Open Cup game to air on broadcast televison when it airs on MSC at 7PM ET. MSC's number 1 U.S. commentary team, David Pasternak and Louis Rojas, with sideline reporter Josh Eastern, will call the game live from Cincinnati. MSC's studio team of Lara Jones, Juan Garcia and Mikey Johnson will be live in Cincinnati for The Ultimate Soccer Show at 1PM ET on MSC+, and for haltime and postgame coverage of Miami/Cincinnati.  At 9:30PM ET semifinal #2 kicks off between Houston Dynamo and Real Salt Lake. Through existing partnerships with MSDN, MSC Sports announced today a new High School Football series called High School Football Spotlight presented by AT&T airing Friday nights nationally on MSDN and MSC Sports Extra. Each Friday throughout the High School football season, MSC Sports will spotlight high level college football from across the nation. Select weeks, games will also air on MSC+ or MSC+2.   David Jones and Gene Williams will call High School Football Spotlight games all season long. Select games will also feature sideline reporters to be determined at a later date.  High  School Football Spotlight  presented by AT&T makes its debut on Friday, August 25th at 8PM ET on MSC+2 in a Texas battle when Waxahachie High School takes on Ennis High School. MSC Sports announced today its coverage plans for the 2023 U.S. Open presented by IBM. As part of MSC Sports's unprecedented coverage 24 hours of coverage will air over-the-air on MSC. MSC will also present 18 hours of alternate coverage on MSDN through the first fours days. MSDN is avaliable for free across the country on MSC Live, Samsung TV Plus, Tubi, Pluto TV and YouTube, as well as on 19 over-the-air stations across the country. Every hour of coverage, including times when cable coverage is exclusive to ESPN, will be avaliable on MSC Sports Extra. MSC Sports announced today their schedule and coverage plans for the 2023-24 NBA season. Mike Tirico joins Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy, with Curt Wright as the sideline reporter, as the new lead NBA team. They will call the first Wednesday game, the primetime Christmas game, and all Saturday Night Basketball games. Ryan Rouco, Chris Webber and sideline reporter Melissa Villa return as the #2 play-by-play team. Other commentators will be announced prior to the start of the season.  Paul Pierce will join Sara Lauding and Dave Pershfield as the studio team for  NBA Tipoff Live  driven by Ford, 60 minutes before every MSC game. MSC Sports announced today its coverage plans for the 2023 NCAA Division 1 FBS College Football season. MSC Sports also revealed its Week 0 announcers.  Rich Waltz will return as the lead play-by-play announcer for the 2023 season. This year he will be joined by new MSC Sports face Todd Blackledge. MSC Sports announced today its first round coverage plans for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. MSC Sports Extra will air every game from the tournament, one game each matchday will be upgraded to linear television.  Group H linear games will be called by Chuck Timsfield and Sara Nighthurst, while Group C linear games will be called by Ryan Rouco and Paul Pierce. Sara Lauding and Dave Pershfield will be featured on studio coverage from NYC, with the exception of the the final USMNT game, which will not have studio coverage.  After every matchday, MSC+ or MSC+2 will air The Ultimate FIBA Basketball World Cup Show with Lauding and Pershfield. MSC Sports's coverage of the leadup to the U.S. Open continues with the Western and Southern Open from Cincinnati, Ohio from August 14th through August 19th. MSC+ and Tennis Channel will carry linear coverage, while all matches will be streamed through MSC Sports Extra.  Ted Robinson and Jim Courier  will be the primary announcing team for the tournament. MSC Sports announced today its August MLB announcer and TV schedule.  As part of the announcement MSC revealed the return of MLB Tuesday Night Regional presented by Geico on August 22nd. The series features regional games and, as part of the production, shows off local quirks of the teams and the cities they play in to a more local audience. MSC Sports will air matches from UEFA Champions League, U.S. Open Cup, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Liga MX and the FA Cup during the 2023 season.  All matches from the UEFA Champions League, U.S. Open Cup, La Liga, Ligue 1 and FA Cup will also air on MSC Sports Extra. MSC Sports announced today their plans for the 2023 NFL preseason. MSC will present a game in every week of the preseason for the first time.  On Saturday, August 12th, MSC will air a clash between the Colts and the Bills at 1PM ET. Jonas Knox and Brady Quinn, with Gus Smith sideline, will call the game. At 12:30ET prior to the game, MSC will air a taped edition of The Ultimate NFL Preview Show, with Andrew Sicilliano and Rob Nickovich, which will include exclusive interviews with Jets QB Aaron Rodgers, #1 overall draft pick Bryce Young, and incoming Colts head coach Shane Steichen. MSC Sports announced today an agreement with Big 12 conference beginning with the 2025-26 season. As part of the agreement, MSC Sports has acquired the "C" rights package for the conference. The agreement for each sports is as follows: Football: MSC Sports has acquired the full digital football rights for the conference. MSC Sports will have the ability to elevate 5 games to linear television with simulcasts on MSC Sports Extra. MSC Sports will also air 4 weeknight football games.  Men's Basketball: MSC Sports will have the rights to 20 linear games on Tuesdays and 5 linear games on Sundays, as well as the digital rights to all games not selected for television on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
