MSC Sports announces MLB schedule for final day of regular season

MSC Sports announced today their coverage plans for the final day of the 2022 Major League Baseball season: Wednesday, October 5th. Three games, plus pregame coverage cover an important final day in the league. 

Blue Jays at Orioles, 4PM ET, MSC (Davis/Ortiz/Smith)

The Blue Jays and Orioles finish off a tough season in the AL East. As it currently stands, the Blue Jays are still fighting for position in the AL Wild Card race, while the Orioles fight to get in to the playoff picture.

Phillies at Astros, 4PM ET, MSC+ (Rouco/Thomas/Williams)

The Phillies are currently fighting for their playoff lives, they are only half a game up on the Brewers for the final Wild Card sport in the National League. What stands in their war is the best team in the American League, tuning up for another deep playoff run.

Giants at Padres, 4PM ET, MSC+2 (Shappel/Rindwhistle)

The Giants, like the Orioles, are barely holding on to their playoff hopes. They will have to hope for a Good final stretch to make it in, but this could be an important game. The Padres on the other hand are just 2.5 games up in the playoff picture, a late fall could shift positioning, or see them eliminated from the playoff picture entirely.
