MSC Sports Presents Exclusive Coverage of Men's and Women's US Open Final
MSC Sports revealed today its coverage plans for the Men's and Women's US Open Final.
For the women's, two time major winner Iga Swiatek, ranked number one in the world since April, faces Ons Jabeur, who became the first African woman to reach a major final in the Open era when she played in the Wimbledon championship earlier in the summer, ranked number five in the world.
In the Men's, Carlos Alcarez, who has only played professionally for two years and is already ranked number three in the world, faces Casper Rund, the first man from Norway to reach a major final, ranked number five in the world.
Bill Macatee and Mary Carillo, with Sara Wright providing featured reports from inside Arthur Asche Stadium, will provide the main commentary for both the men's and women's final. Macatee and Carillo have been MSC's number 1 commentary team throughout the Tournament. Ted Robinson, James Blake and Mike David will provide studio coverage before and after the matches, as well as appearing on other MSC shows including: This is What's Trending Now, Sports Center and The Ultimate Sports Show.
Women's coverage begins at 3:30PM ET on MSC+2 and MSC2, with Robinson, Blake and David on U.S Open Preview presented by Degree. (Coverage will also air on MSC following the conclusion of Alabama at Texas football.) At 4PM, match coverage will begin on MSC. All coverage, including the world feed, will be available on MSC Sports Extra.
Men's coverage begins at 7:30PM ET (airing on MSC only after the conclusion of Chiefs at Cardinals NFL coverage) on MSC and MSC2 with Robinson, Blake and David on U.S Open Preview presented by Degree. At 8PM, match coverage will begin on MSC. All coverage, including the world feed, will be available on MSC Sports Extra.
