MSC Sports Announces its Coverage Plans for 2022-2023 NBA Season

MSC Sports announced today their coverage plans for the 2022-23 NBA season. MSC Sports's NBA coverage will begin on Wednesday, October 19th, the second day of the NBA season on MSC+, with a premier doubleader, with game 1 being between the New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies, and game 2 between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns. 

For the 2022-23 season, MSC Sports is introducing new branding for each of its nights of games. 23 games will be presented as NBA MSC Monday presented by Gatorade, 6 games will be presented instead as NBA MSC Wednesday presented by Gatorade, MSC+2 and MSC Sports Extra games will be presented as The NBA on MSC+2 (or MSC Sports Extra) presented by Geico, finally MSC's premier Saturday games, will continue to be branded as Saturday Night Basketball, presented by Mountain Dew. 

Mike Tirico and Paul Pierce, alongside Curt Wright courtside, will form the primary announcing team for NBA games, Ryan Rouco and Chris Webber, with Meillisa Villa courtside, will form the secondary announcing team. Chuck Timsfield and Sara Nighthurst will also call games, primarily on MSC+2. Mike Lowhart and Ryan Quickly will provide play-by-play for select games, David Filborn will provide color commentary for select games. 

Sara Nick, Steve Lowhart and Dave Pershfield will provide studio coverage for most NBA games, including traveling on-site for all Saturday Night Basketball games.

Kings vs Warriors, 8:30PM, MSC+2 (Timsfield/Nighthurst)

Monday, October 24th:
Nuggets vs Trail Blazers, 10PM, MSC+ (Rouco/Webber/Villa)

Wednesday, October 26th:
Nets vs Bucks, 7:30PM, MSC+ (Rouco/Pierce/Wright)

Sunday, October 30th:
Pelicans vs Clippers, 3PM, MSC Sports Extra (RSN simulcast)
Nuggets vs Lakers, 9:30PM, MSC+2 (Timsfield/Nighthurst)

Monday, October 31st:
Hawks vs Raptors, 7:30PM, MSC+ (Rouco/Webber/Villa)
Rockets vs Clippers, 10:30PM, MSC+2 (Lowhart/Filborn)

MSC Sports announces 2025 Cincinnati Open coverage plans
