MSC Sports announces coverage plans for College Football conference championships

MSC Sports revealed today its coverage plans for five College Football conference championships from the ACC, American Athletic Conference, Mountain West, MAC and Sun Belt. For the first time, every MSC Sports championship game will be presented live over-the-air on MSC, all games will also stream on MSC Extra for the first time. 

For studio coverage, Steve Willhops, Frank Gore and Reggie Bush will be live from the ACC Championship Game. The team will present pregame and halftime coverage for the MAC, Sun Belt and ACC on Saturday. Sam Picker, Nick Donson and Steve Gloomy will be live from the Mountain West Championship game on Friday. They will provide pregame and halftime all day on Friday.

On Friday, coverage begins at 5:30PM ET with The Ultimate College Football Show Presented by Allstate with Picker, Donson and Gloomy, leading into the American Athletic Conference championship game between Tulane and Army live from Army's Mitchie Stadium in West Point, New York. Brandon Gaudin, Chuck Long and Liam Johnson will be on hand for the call of the game. 

At 9:30PM ET, MSC will be in Boise, Idaho for the Mountain West Conference Game between UNLV and Boise State. The game, which will likely face two CFP ranked teams, will almost certainly be a play-in game for the College Football Playoff, with the winner recieving an automatic bid. Noah Eagle, Aaaron Murray and Willy Grier will provide commentary for that game. 

On Saturday, coverage begins with College Football Gametime Live presented by Verizon with Willhops, Gore and Bush live from the ACC Championship Game. Coverage of the 2024 Mid-American Confernce Championship Game will begin at 12PM ET on MSC. The game will feature Ohio versus Miami of Ohio. Justin Kutcher, Petros Papadakis and Sean Murphy will call that game. 

At 4PM ET, MSC will present the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Championship game between Marshall and Louisiana. Carter Blackburn, Aaron Taylor and Sam Williams will be on the call of the game live from Louisiana. 

Finally, at 8PM ET, MSC will also present the 2024 Atlantic Cocast Conference Championship game between Clemson and SMU live from Charlotte, North Carolina. Once again, the gane will likely be a play-in game for the College Football Playoff. The winner will almost certainly recieve a spot in the game. A close game could allow both Clemson and SMU to reach the College Football playoff. Rich Waltz, Todd Blackledge and Jenny Taft will be on the all of that game. 

All day Saturday, MSC Sports will also exclusively air coverage of the second round of the second round of the 2024 Division 1 FCS playoffs. All games will air on MSC Sports Extra. Lehigh at Idaho, with Kevin Calabro and Jeremy Bloom on the call, will also air on MSC+ at 10PM ET. Montana at South Dakota State at 2PM ET will also air on MSDN and MSC Sports Live.
