MSC Sports reveals coverage for the 2026 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers

MSC Sports revealed today its schedule and coverage plans for the 2026 World Basebal Classic Qualifiers between South Africa, Nicaragua, Taiwan, Spain and China, Germany, Brazil and Colombia. Two teams from each pool will qualify for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

Coverage of Pool A will be handled by the world feed. Frank Zaun and Shawn Downahugh will handle commentary for all Pool B games on linear television. Sara Wilson and Chang Rooker will be featured on studio coverage for Nicaragua/Taiwan, Brazil/Colombia and both play-in games before, after and during the seventh inning stretch.

Thursday, February 20th:
South Africa vs Nicaragua, 11PM, MSDN/MSC Sports Live

Friday, February 21st:
Spain vs Taiwan, 6AM, MSDN/MSC Sports Live
Spain vs Nicaragua, 11PM, MSDN/MSC Sports Live

Saturday, February 22nd:
Taiwan vs South Africa, 6AM, MSC+2
South Africa vs Spain, 11PM, MSDN/MSC Sports Live

Sunday, February 23rd:
Nicaragua vs Taiwan, 6AM, MSC+

Tuesday, February 25th:
Play-in Game, 6AM, MSC+2

Sunday, March 2nd:
China vs Germany, 1PM, MSC Sports Extra
Brazil vs Colombia, 8PM, MSC+

Monday, March 3rd:
Brazil vs Germany, 1PM, MSDN/MSC Sports Live

MSC Sports announces 2025 Cincinnati Open coverage plans
