MSC Sport announces extensions to its National Hockey League agreements

MSC Sport, negotating on behalf of MSC Outdoor (Canada), MSC Sports (United States) and the global MSC Sport division, announced extensions to all three divisions agreements with the National Hockey League. MSC Sport will work to ensure a unified production for all three divisions. All of these new contracts will go into effect with the 2026-27 season.

In the United States, MSC Sports will continue its agreement to simulcast select TNT Sports games as TNT Sports' designated over-the-air partner, alongside the rights to Monday Night Hockey, the exclusive rights to all European games, and the exclusive rights to at least 13 playoff games per season. This contract will expire following the 2027-28 season. 

In Canada, MSC Sports Extra will continue to be the exclusive streaming home of the National Hockey League. MSC Sports Extra, for no extra cost, will stream all out-of-market games to Canadien fans. In addition, MSC Sports will continue to hold the rights to Monday Night Hockey. For the first time, MSC Outdoor will have the rights to half the NHL playoffs, including a conference final. 

Internationally, MSC Sports will hold the exclusive National Hockey League rights. MSC will retain these rights in Mexico, the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Australia. In these markets, all NHL games will also exclusively stream on the local MSC Sports streaming service and air on linear television. MSC Sports will work with the National Hockey League to sublicense games in other key markets. In all markets where a sublicense is not reached, except North Korea, China and Saudi Arabia, MSC Sports will stream NHL games for free at live.sports.msc.com.

MSC Sports announces 2025 Cincinnati Open coverage plans
