MSC Sports announces 2025 Wild Card Series coverage plans

MSC Sports revealed today its schedule and coverage plans for the 2025 MLB Wild Card Series. MSC Sports will present every game from the Wild Card Series on MSC or MSC+. Every game will stream on MSC Sports Extra

Joe Davis, David Ortiz and Sara Smith return as MSC Sports's lead broadcast team throughout the 2024 Major League Baseball playoffs. They will call the Red Sox/Yankees series in the first round of the playoffs. They may also call a different non-West Coast series for Game 3 on Thursday, if needed.

Ryan Roucco, Frank Thomas and Rodrigo Williams, will be the #2 broadcast team throughout the playoffs, including calling games during the 2025 American League Division Series. They will call the Reds/Dodgers series during the Wild Card Series. 

Jason Benetti, Sam Scotty, and Willy Grier will be on the call for Padres/Cubs. David Shappel, Ryan Rindwhistle, and Will Schnood will call Tigers/Guardians.

All throughout the week, Sara Lauding, Pedro Martinez, and Dontrelle Willis, with special insight coming from MLB Insider Devin White, will be featured on The Ultimate MLB Show presented by Degree. Coverage begins at 1PM on MSC on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday, September 30th:
G1: Padres at Cubs, 2PM, MSC
G1: Tigers at Guardians, 4PM, MSC+
G1: Red Sox at Yankees, 6PM, MSC
G1: Reds at Dodgers, 9PM, MSC

Wednesday, October 1st:
G2: Padres at Cubs, 2PM, MSC
G2: Tigers at Guardians, 4PM, MSC+
G2: Red Sox at Yankees, 6PM, MSC
G2: Reds at Dodgers, 9PM, MSC

Thursday, October 2nd:
G3: Tigers at Guardians, 3PM, MSC
G3: Red Sox at Yankees, 6PM, MSC
G3: Padres at Cubs, 9PM, MSC

MSC Sports announces 2025 WNBA Finals schedule and coverage plans

MSC Sports will present exclusive coverage of the 2025 WNBA Finals Presented by YouTube TV, featuring the Las Vegas Aces and the Phoenix Mercury. The Las Vegas Aces will make their third WNBA Finals appearance in the last four years, looking to capture a third title and join the Houston Comets (4 straight from 1997-00) as the only teams in league history to do so. The Phoenix Mercury returns to the Finals for the first time since 2021, chasing their first championship since 2014.
