MSC Sports to acquire multi-country broadcast rights for the 2028 World Cup of Hockey

MSC Sport, the global broadcast division of, announced today it had reached an agreement with the National Hockey League to acquire multi-country rights to the 2028 World Cup of Hockey. 

In the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain and Australia, MSC Sports will hold the exclusive rights to all games from the tournament. MSC Sport and its partners will produce five seperate feeds for select games in the tournament. All games will feature an English and French world feed, with select games also getting country specific broadcasts in the United States, Canada and France. 

Further coverage details will be announced at a later date. MSC Sports is a global leader is supporting and promoting international sports events. The network holds the rights, in the United States, to the World Baseball Classic, FIBA Basketball World Cup, the UEFA Nations League and CONCACAF Gold Cup, among other events.
