MSC Sports revealed today its coverage plans for the 2025 Major League Baseball season with games across MSC, MSC+, MSC+2 and MSC Sports Extra. Joe Davis, David Ortiz and field reporter Sara Smith return as MSC Sports's lead MLB broadcasting team. Ryan Rouco and Frank Thomas will once again serve as MSC's second commentary crew. Jason Benetti will be the lead play-by-play commentator on MLB Sunday Leadoff, which will once again feature two color commentators each week, one focused on each team. New this season, Willy Grier will be a field reporter for every MLB Sunday Leadoff game. Benetti, along with Frank Zaun will also serve as fill-in play-by-play commentators for games on MSC and MSC+, joined by analysts Devin White and Sam Scotty. For the third consecutive year, MSC Sports will provide coverage of the Sunshine Double United States Tennis tournaments, featuring Indian Wells in Los Angeles and the Miami Open in Miami. Coverage begins with the BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells).  MSC's 2025  BNP Paribas Open includes a significant expansion of coverage thanks to the tournament and MSC Sports working together to create a better schedule for all parties. Quarterfinal coverage on Thursday, March 13th will be the first time MSC's main over-the-network has aired tennis from Indian Wells. MSC Sports revealed today its schedule and coverage plans for the 2026 World Basebal Classic Qualifiers between South Africa, Nicaragua, Taiwan, Spain and China, Germany, Brazil and Colombia. Two teams from each pool will qualify for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Coverage of Pool A will be handled by the world feed.  Frank Zaun and Shawn Downahugh will handle commentary for all Pool B games on linear television. MSC Sports, in the United States and MSC Outdoor in Canada will partner to exclusively air the NHL 4 Nations Faceoff Hockey tournament in English the United States, Canada and Europe beginning Wednesday, February 12th. This joint production will continue unprecedented success from the production of Monday Night Hockey.  MSC Sports will handle production of the US vs. Finland, Finland vs. Sweden and Sweden vs. the United States. MSC Sports and the NBA announced today that the February 10, 2025, edition of the NBA on MSC+2, featuring the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers, will be simulcast on MSC+. The game will likely feature the debut of Luka Doncic as a Los Angeles Laker. Chuck Timsfield and Sara Nighthurst will be on the call of the game.  This game will be the second part of a NBA doubleheader on MSC+. At 7:30PM ET, MSC+ will air a game between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. Ryan Rouco will be on the call alongside Chris Webber and Paul Pierce. MSC Sports announced today an exclusive agreement to air AEG’s annual Coachella Valley Invitational (CVI), the preeminent preseason professional soccer event in North America, which includes matches featuring Major League Soccer and National Women's Soccer League teams. Games will air on MSC+2, MSDN/MSC Sports Live and MSC Sports Distribution/MSC Sports Extra. MSC Sports will handle production for games on MSC+2 and MSDN. Josh Eastern and Shane Street, and Sara Longhord and Curt Fieldman will be the commentary crew for these games.  MSC Sports Distribution, the largest syndicator of live sports in the United States, will syndicate games not picked for television to regional sports networks and local over-the-air stations. MSC Sports revealed today its coverage plans for NASCAR races in 2025 on MSC Sports. MSC will air races all season long from the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, Truck, and Arca Menard Series. Allen Bestwick and Jeff Gordon return as the lead commentary crew for NASCAR on MSC. Vince Welch and Michael Waltrip are retained as the secondary commentary crew. James Clinchfille, Michael Waltrip, Lauren McNight, Luck Mittifield, Mike Bagley and Sean Murphy will be the pitt reporters for the 2025 season.  The Ultimate NASCAR Show presented by Ally returns daily on MSC+ beginning next month (full Spring MSC+ weekday schedule to be announced) will be hosted by Dave Turnip, Mike Bagley or Vince Welch and feature analysis from Stephen Welch, James Clinchfille, Todd Bodine and Nick Sames.
