MSC Sports announced today their coverage plans for the 2023 MLB season. MSC's 2023 coverage will feature weekly games on Tuesday ( Tuesday Night Baseball on MSC+) and Thursday ( Thursday, Night Baseball on MSC), one monthly "Game of the Month" game, a year long package of MLB Sunday Leadoff games, mostly on MSC Sports Extra, and at least 1 weekly game on MSC+2. MSC will also air select special events games.  Joe Davis, David Ortiz and Sara Smith return as the lead broadcast team. They will primairly call Thursday Night Baseball, Game of the Month and other select special events games. Ryan Rouco and Frank Thomas, with Rodrigo Williams joining for select games, will be the secondary broadcast team, primarily calling Tuesday night games on MSC+. MSC Sports and the United States Soccer Federation announced today a landmark four year deal for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. MSC Sports and the USSF worked to form an agreement that would ensure all matches are acessible for fans, and that even lower level teams see strategic gains from the event.  All first and second round matches will air on MSC Sports Live. MSC Sports will work with USL Teams in Round 2 to ensure that as many matches as possible featuring these teams are cleared on linear television in local markets. Third Round and Round of 32 games involving MLS teams will air on MSC Sports Extra, with select games on MSC+, MSC+2 or MSDN, games not involving these teams will continue to air on MSC Sports Live. MSC Sports announced today their schedule for the Miami Open on MSDN, MSC+2, and MSC+.  MSC Sports coverage will be based from their rooftop studios in Los Angeles. All matches, including the ones not listed below, will air on MSC Sports Extra. Bill Macatee and Mary Carillo, with Jimmy Arias courtside, will be the commentary team for the tournament. MSC Sports announced today a landmark 7-year rights agreement with the NCAA, which includes an expansion of MSC's multi sport rights. MSC Sports will continue to exclusively carry the FCS playoffs, as well as new version of their renowned Game of the... package, featuring Game of the Month's from College Football, Men's College Basketball and for the first time Women's College Basketball. MSC Sports will also see an increase in the Men's and Women's March Madness games. For the Men's, MSC Sports will air 10 first round games, up from 8, 2 second round games, up from 1, and 1 Sweet 16 game. MSC Sports will also become the exclusive home of the NCAA Women's March Madness, with every game airing on MSC Sports Extra, select games will continue to be sublicensed to ESPN.
